Breakthrough in infertility treatment

New  Australian research might lead to cheaper and less invasive fertility treatment options for women who are struggling to become pregnant, especially those with conditions like polycystic ovarian syndrome.

The innovative technique, which builds on an existing treatment called in-vitro maturation (IVM), uses significantly less hormone drugs than IVF and thus greatly reduces the risk of medical complications.  For more information, read the article at:
