Things to know about giving birth
So many of the women I talk to during the antenatal period of totally terrified about their impending delivery – irrespective of whether it is expected to be a vaginal delivery (spontaneous or induced) or a booked cesarian. Unfortunately, we don’t have to many other options available, and as we move towards the later stages of pregnancy, one way or another, the baby has to come out, so we have to find a way to get prepared. I really like this article, written by a woman who has been through 3 successful deliveries, all of them a little different, where she shares her perspectives about labour and delivery and what strategies might help to feel a little more in control. http://www.essentialbaby.com.au/birth/birth-stories/5-things-ive-learned-about-giving-birth-20170529-gwf8vn.html
